David Giertz is a financial advisor with the Nationwide Investment Services Corporation. He has been working in this sector for the past 31 years and had a lot of experience in investment banking. One of the issues David feels affects the industry deepest is the fact that not many clients factor in the social security benefits when planning for retirement. In an interview on about.me that he did for the Wall Street Journal, he outlined the challenges that pensioners face when it comes to claiming their benefits.
According to a study that was conducted by the Nationwide Investment Services, very few investment bankers were talking to their clients about the importance of their social security benefits at https://soundcloud.com/davidgiertz. A shocking 86 percent of the sample of people interviewed did not even know the factors that affected the amount of money they were receiving as security benefits.
David Giertz says that most of the people make mistakes such as starting to claim benefits as soon as they are 62. He explained that the earlier one started claiming these benefits, the fewer the monthly amounts would get. Giertz observed that over a period of 25 years, one could lose up to 300,000 dollars in benefits, which translated to $12,000 annually. Four out of five clients stated that they would drop an advisor if they realized he was avoiding the topic of social security benefits.
Among the top reasons behind avoidance of the subject is the fact that 2,700 rules govern social security benefits distribution and the advisers finding the topic long and tedious. David Giertz stated that financial advisors needed to get over the complexity of the item and give their clients more reliable information regarding the issue on moneytips.com.
Other places that David has worked include his position as the vice president sales at FI/WH between 2009 and 2013. He currently operates from the One Nationwide Plaza in Columbus, Ohio.

The water at Squaw Valley has been treated severally, and the results show vast improvement. There was the news that E. coli and coliform bacteria were discovered in the water, hence affecting the quality. It was at the health department office in Placer County that the problem was first reported. In response to the same, Squaw Valley made it known to the public that the contaminated water had not reached the public whatsoever.
Sometime back in October the High Camp and Gold Coast area experienced heavy rains that tended to affect the modern day systems that had been installed in the location during summer. An inundation of the water system triggered the pollution issue, specifically on that system. Luckily enough, the firm in charge of the water checks their systems regularly. In one of their routines, they detected the issue and immediately contacted the proper health and water experts.
Current Situation of the Water
From a test taken from three out of four wells serving the upper mountain area, the E. Coli components are no longer in the water after continued treatment. However, coliform is still in existence, probably a reason why the water cannot be declared fit yet. With the current results, it is evident that in a matter of a few months the issue will be completely resolved.
Safety Assurance to the Public
As confirmed, the potential issue was noticed before spreading to any system beyond the particular one at the High Camp and Gold. Additionally, since October no individual has contracted diseases as a result of water pollution. With the vigilant experts on the ground, the issue is being contained, and there is no cause for alarm.
Client service is paramount to Squaw Valley water suppliers. As such, they have ensured that their systems are closed until approved by the experts handling the issue. Besides, they have continued to attend to the guests in their facilities, and even supplying them with bottled water free of charge. There could not have been a better way to deal with the issue.
The heavy rains this year have been both a blessing and a curse. The drought relief is certainly welcome, but the sheer volume of rain has caused many other problems all up and down the west coast. The new water system upgrade at High Camp and Gold Coast at Squaw Valley experienced its own problems from the heavy rains.
After a routine test of the drinking water E. coli and traces of coliform were found in the water. But, due to quick action, no one was effected and it looks like the water system will be safe for consumption very soon.
The Placer County Department of Environmental Health made a report on November 8th about the potential danger of consuming the drinking water. With the help of water experts, they started treating the four wells immediately and were able to bring the level of contamination down to safer levels.
As of December 1st, there was very low levels of coliform and E. coli present in the wells. The resort remains open to skiers, although the restaurant at upper mountain is closed, and are provided with plenty of clean bottled drinking water.
The public was never in danger due to the quick response of the health department and officials at the Squaw Valley resorts. They want to assure everyone that the resort will remain open and full access to all the facilities, with plenty of bottled water for the guests.
Don’t let the water issue stop you from enjoying some skiing. Although the rain has caused numerous problems this year, it’s also making for plenty of snow. So, get out and enjoy some powder.
The online retail market is growing at an unbelievable pace, and many companies are competing to take the top spot. The market has become highly competitive and to win the majority market share where the giants such as Amazon are already active; it is not an easy task. However, Fabletics, which is a favorite “Athleisure” brand by Katie Hudson and Associates, has given Amazon a terrible time to hold on to its over 20 percent market share.
Fabletics has a unique subscription-based business model wherein the customers are required to pay a nominal fee for a monthly membership. In return for that, the customers are given a choice to pick and select from the new monthly collection showcased to member between 1st to 5th of each month. Member can choose from the updated monthly collection, in which case they would be charged the corresponding amount, or they can skip buying for that month, in which case the members won’t be charged anything.
Fabletics has a huge collection of fitness apparel for women, and the best part is that the pricing is kept affordable. The brand aims to inspire fitness and a healthy regime and believes that doing so in style only makes sense in the fashion conscious world we live in. There are new designs added every month, and each and every design is developed after carefully analyzing the latest market trend, with inspiration and guidance from Katie Hudson.
Fabletics started as a small start-up, but in just a short span of three years has emerged as one of the market leaders in its niche and currently does a business of over $250 million annually. The turnover is expected to increase rapidly in the years to come as the company is now focusing on opening physical stores as well across the country. There are already 17 stores placed strategically in important cities countrywide. It is the reverse showroom business and marketing technique that was earlier followed by major brands such as Apple and Warby Parker the Fabletics is inspired from.
Fabletics believes that opening the physical stores would help the brand penetrate the market further. And, since the company’s products are priced half of what its counterparts charge without compromising on the quality, style or fabric, there is no reason why the customers won’t be happy to buy what they see. The fashion conscious people are always on the lookout for something that suits their style and personality, and which is in trend. With Katie Hudson being the fashion and fitness diva that she is, and markets Fabletics actively, the fan following of the brand is huge and continues to grow.
The customers have provided rave reviews to Fabletics because it provides ease of shopping and convenience of doorstep delivery at a very nominal monthly fee. The VIP members get a discount on other products displayed at the site, and there are many other perks the members are offered. The customer service of the company is one of the company’s high points and has over 1,000 customer service executives to provide attentive and responsive service at all times.
The Haircare/Cosmetology Industry is huge and is one of the popular fields of work today. There are numerous brands on the market today including Pantene, Maybelline, L’Oréal, Max Factor, and others. Unfortunately many of these brands are loaded with toxins. They can definitely help the user create a specific look, but down the line these toxins can cause a wide range of nasty issues including dullness, dryness, and even hair breakage.
