Newsweek ranked him third nationally among facelift surgeons for 2025. Harper’s Bazaar named him among the 24 best plastic surgeons in the United States. The Technique Behind the Recognition
The foundation of Dr. Andrew Jacono’s clinical reputation is the Minimal Access Deep-Plane Extended (MADE) facelift, developed in the early 2000s. Where traditional facelifts relied on pulling skin, his method repositions skin, muscle, and fat together as a single structure. Education and Institutional Roles
Dr. Andrew Jacono earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1996. Residency training in Otolaryngology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he served as administrative chief resident, was followed by an advanced fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He holds faculty roles at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and North Shore University Hospital, and serves as Fellowship Director for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
His published record totals more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, with presentations at over 100 international conferences. The Most Compassionate Doctor Award came to him every year from 2012 through 2022, an honor reserved for fewer than 3% of physicians.
The humanitarian dimension of his work adds a layer to those accolades.
